2013 Trends Part 2

We are back again with the second part of our top trends in wedding stationery for 2013.

If you still have time to think about your stationery yet, and you are stuck for inspiration, we are here to help.

Monograms

Monograms have always been a popular choice in wedding invitations, and 2013 will not be the year that this changes.

Couples can use the monogram to express their individuality, and even cultural heritage.  The beauty of the monogram invite is that it can be embellished with crystals for a touch of glamour.  A monogram can be the main feature of the invite, or can be added as a type of seal to a pocket-fold design.

This is a monogram added to a pocketfold invite.

Colours

For the past few years Cadbury Purple has been popular with brides, however we are seeing a return to other colours such as cornflower blue, soft lemon and pastel pink.

The colour of choice for weddings in 2013 is mint green which is a lovely soft spring/summer colour.

According to Pantone (the colour creators) the colour trends for 2013 are much softer and fresher than we saw in 2012.

If you love Cadbury Purple but want to be a little different why not try African Violet instead?

If you already have some idea of what you are looking for and you would like to get started on your stationery, or you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will help you in any way we can.
