2013 Trends Part 1

Wow, 2013 is looking to be the year for weddings so far!  We have had brides coming in almost every day over the last week to discuss their wedding stationery.

If you still have time to think about your stationery yet, and you are stuck for inspiration, we are here to help with some of the top trends for 2013.

1920s
One of the big trends for 2013 is going to be inspired by the 1920s.  'The Great Gatsby' film due out this year will ensure that everything from invites through to hairstyles will be inspired by 1920s glamour.

Kearline Invites & More have already designed a 1920s jazz style invitation for a previous bride and groom.  We can adapt this design for you, or design something completely unique to you.

This particular design was an insert in one of our pocketfold invitations.  The bride chose a black pocketfold with white satin ribbon.

Ombré
Ombré is no longer just a hairstyle, now your wedding stationery can have that faded out look too!

While some gradient styles can be difficult to carry off in print, the Ombré style is a simple but effective way of achieving this.  One colour graduating from dark to light can achieve a lovely effect.  Alternatively, the same effect can be achieved with three different, but complimentary colours.

This design is part of our own range, and the simple design has been popular with our brides.  As you can see the darker and lighter pinks give the effect of fading out.

We hope that these two ideas have given you some inspiration for your own wedding stationery.  We will provide more ideas over the next few posts.

If you already have some idea of what you are looking for and you would like to get started on your stationery, or you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will help you in any way we can.
