As a budget-conscious bride you might be considering making your own invites, but did you know that by the time you have bought everything you need to make your own invites it can actually work out more expensive than if you came to Kearline for your invites?
You have to buy card which can work out to be quite expensive as most household printers will only print up to A4 size. If you run out of card sometimes it's difficult to get the same card even if you go back to the same shop, especially if you bought it on sale.
Then there is the ink for the printer, and again depending on your design and colours used it can work out very expensive on ink.
You might have chosen a design you've seen on the web, but you can't just use that image you've found, there's issues such as copyright, and the quality of the image will probably be too low to print without blurring.
Some printers struggle to print on card, so be prepared for jams and for some pieces to slip through without printing the whole image. Setting up the document on your home pc can also be a minefield, spending time lining up the inside so that it is in the correct position in relation to the front - be prepared to waste more ink/paper/time trying to get this right.
With all of the other wedding planning to take care of, do you really have the time to dedicate to gathering supplies and sitting next to an increasingly annoying printer, feeding in single sheets of card to ensure that it doesn't jam or take two sheets at once and print half on one sheet and half on the other?
