2013 Trends Part 3

We are back again with the third part of our top trends in wedding stationery for 2013.
If you still have time to think about your stationery yet, and you are stuck for inspiration, we are here to help.

Fairytale/Fantasy

2012 saw the rise of TV programs based on fairy tales and fantasy.  Once Upon A Time and Grimm both have a modern twist on old fairy tales, and with The Hobbit bringing back Galadriel’s elvish glamour to our screens, 2013 is sure to be the year we see weddings become more fairy tale inspired.

Birds and butterflies will see a resurgence based on the romance and magic of fantasy worlds

This is one of many of our butterfly themed invites.  We can modify this invite for you, or design something completely individual to you.

This design is our most popular one with brides.  This floaty romantic design can be amended to your own colour requirements.

We hope that last few posts have given you some inspiration for your own wedding invites.

Should you be ready to discuss your stationery requirements, or just want some advice, please contact us to make an appointment and we will do everything we can to help you.

2013 Trends Part 2

We are back again with the second part of our top trends in wedding stationery for 2013.

If you still have time to think about your stationery yet, and you are stuck for inspiration, we are here to help.

Monograms

Monograms have always been a popular choice in wedding invitations, and 2013 will not be the year that this changes.

Couples can use the monogram to express their individuality, and even cultural heritage.  The beauty of the monogram invite is that it can be embellished with crystals for a touch of glamour.  A monogram can be the main feature of the invite, or can be added as a type of seal to a pocket-fold design.

This is a monogram added to a pocketfold invite.

Colours

For the past few years Cadbury Purple has been popular with brides, however we are seeing a return to other colours such as cornflower blue, soft lemon and pastel pink.

The colour of choice for weddings in 2013 is mint green which is a lovely soft spring/summer colour.

According to Pantone (the colour creators) the colour trends for 2013 are much softer and fresher than we saw in 2012.

If you love Cadbury Purple but want to be a little different why not try African Violet instead?

If you already have some idea of what you are looking for and you would like to get started on your stationery, or you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will help you in any way we can.
